Rhapsody of my soul

Totally in love with Sara Barielle’s new happy break-up song, Gonna Get Over You. I absolutely love the video and the song. The whole dancing around the supermarket thing, reminds me of Michael Buble’s Haven’t Met You Yet.

Anyway today was kind of interesting in a special way. I guess it’s time to start living life. As Sara Barielles sings, “This time not for you,just for me”. Well, I guess some songs do kind of give you an epiphany. School’s starting soon, the last year of real uniform wearing, school bag tugging, national anthem singing “school”. Nostalgic much? How have the past 12 years been? Just flew by? Thinking about friends all the way from 12 years ago, requires some serious long term memory digging.

2012 is going to be an interesting year, the world is supposedly ending isn’t it? Whether or not that happens is a serious mystery, but one thing’s for certain, we can live with that in mind and just venture into “uncharted” waters headfirst, courtesy of Sara Barielles and willing to “roll with the punches” as Lenka likes to put it.

We’ll be alright.

Alright. So I suddenly had inspiration for my X’mas wish list, for my own reference of course, in case I see any good deals after X’mas :

1. Moustache Earphones from Typo- more of a want than a need though :/
2. Hand sanitiser ( this is completely random, I know)
3. Hairbrush ( how much more random can this get?!)
4. 2012 Calendar ( Desk calendar please :D)
5. Some music ( how vague )
6. Fujifilm Instax ( only for reference, shall be considered again at a later date)
7. Laptop Case for 13 inch laptop :/
8. Some organisation stuff from Kikki K/Typo - something for keeping files/stationery
9. A good book
10. A nice bookmark of good quality :D

had a pretty good day today:) went out with a couple of friends and felt the Christmas mood all round town. got some stuff to do ;)

It has been some time since I last posted yes? Missing tumblr since forever <3

Gosh, I know I keep quoting Stereo Hearts, but I think it’s really super nice! the whole I’m a radio and I only play a song….. On another note, end of year holidays are finally here! The Christmas trees are up, the ever familiar jingles are ringing in my ears and the yearly massacre of trees for wrapping paper has just begun. Trust me to describe Christmas is such epic terms. Well, as you grow older, your concept of Christmas does change quite drastically. Once I was more interested in eagerly ripping open pretty wrapping and peeling away each page of my Advent calendar ( to reveal little elves haha) . Now? Christmas is more about just being with the people I care about :)
